A group of 22 hashers from Sibu Hash House Harriers will be taking part in an international hash event, the 11th Pan Asia Hash in Medan, Indonesia.

Another group of 9 hashers from Tatau are also taking part as well.

Pan Asia Hash is held once every 2 years & the event is rotated among memeber countries in Asia.

The 11th pan Asia Hash in Medan is held from 3rd August to 5th August 2007. Hashers from Asia & other parts of the world have enrolled to take part in this event to run in Medan & visit Indonesia. More than 2,000 hashers from all over the world is expected to take part in this year's event.

After the Medan hash run, the 31 hashers from sibu & Tatau will going to Lake Toba on 6th to 8th August to attend the Post Ramble hash run there.

Sibu Hash House Harriers organizes hash runs through the jungle every Sunday at 4:00 pm. Its hash runs have regularly been attended by 50 to 70 hashers lately. The runs normally take between 1 to 2 hours to complete.

Participation is open to all interested public who doesn't mind getting a little dirty, like to walk and run on jungle trails, breathe fresh air and have a good sweat out.

Run fee is charged at RM5.00 per run. Free soft drink are provided after the runs.

LongHouse Run At Skuau, 28th Mile, Sibu-Bintulu Road on 27th may 2007


To mark the run-up to Gawai Dayak, the Sibu Hash House Harriers staged one of the regular runs at a longhouse area in Sikuau, Mile 28 Oya Road .

Some longhouse folk gamely joines 80 hashers in the run.

Later, longhouse headman John Dulah treated hashers to an exotic dinner.
